Pigs is Equals is a Film Company run by Matt Nation, Simon Pegg and Jon Thrower. It is dedicated to doing anything that any of its owners can persuade the other two to do. There is no remit, but generally the more ambitious, impossible or downright dangerous the project, the more likely it is to be done.
It is so called because having finished a film we needed a name to put on the credits. After several hours of fruitless suggestions, we had a meal. At the end of the meal, a fortune cookie proudly proclaimed "Dogs look up to men, cats look down on men, but pigs is equals."
